In the event of a natural or man-made disaster, the telephone, internet and cell phone systems could be inoperable or simply overloaded.
In the event of an emergency, the club's Emergency Radio Communications Team is available to provide a link to other agencies such as Emergency Management BC (EMBC) or other municipalities for message handling and disaster reporting.
Composed primarily of Amateur Radio Operators, our group would encourage anyone interested writing their Amateur Radio examination and joining our team to contact one of the club executives.
